Ponderosa Development

Ponderosa Village in Peachland on the West side of Lake Okanagan, BC. The transformation of an existing Golf Course into a 400 acre community development complete with new roads, services and a new Greg Norman designed championship golf course.

Residences at Parkside Village

Parkside Village - Mississauga, Ontario. BDC are working on the first three buildings with construction costs of $200 million. These are the first phases of a thirteen tower development to be built over the next five to ten years.

TELUS Garden

BDC are providing pre-construction services to Telus for their $750 million, one million square foot development which will incorporate a LEED Platinum 22-storey signature office tower, a 46-storey residential tower built to the LEED Gold standard and retail space along Robson and Georgia.

Fremont Village

The lower mainland's largest commercial development located, in Port Coquitlam, B.C. The development is to construct a shopping mall which includes Canadian Tire and Marks Work Warehouse in the first phase.

The Sovereign

Located at the northern-eastern corner of Kingsway and Willingdon Avenue, in Burnaby, B.C. This development is to construct a 42 storey building of concrete and steel frame, residential, hotel and ground floor retail.

River Walk

BDC were hired in the planning stages and now the initial construction phases of BC's largest residential development in ten years. The 130 acre $3 billion development is located in the East Kent Avenue district in South Vancouver.

Pinnacle on Adelaide

Toronto's latest condo tower, designed by Hariri Pantarini. 43 storey 509,000 s.f. $109 million development located in the vibrant Arts and Cultural Area.

Stratford Hall School

BDC are providing Project Management/ Owner Representative services to this private middle school located on Commercial Drive in Vancouver.

Builders Lien Act Certification

BDC knows the required procedures; we are experienced in the set up and monitoring of the payment process, in order to keep projects in line with the rules of the Act.

Construction Management

BDC can offer on site Supervision and management of the contractual process. Working directly with trades BDC will manage the costs, schedule and quality of construction.

Contingency Reserve Funds

To comply with changes under the Strata Property Amendment Act Depreciation Reports with Cash Flow Projections are now mandatory. BDC are now preparing forecasts of anticipated maintenance, repair and replacement costs that will be payable by strata corporations.

Contingency Risk Analysis

BDC has developed software that will analyze individual elements of construction budgets,assessing their potential for over runs.

Cost of Replacement for Insurance

BDC’s extensive data base of current costs steps beyond the general guide as estimates are provided for specific buildings and annual updates made to reflect market conditions.

BDC will become an integral part of the design and planning process; estimating at the very early stages of a project, evaluating alternative concepts so that realistic budgets can be established.
